To strengthen our European team, we are seeking a Technical Service Engineer / Project Manager (m/f/d) for our German location. The role combines technical responsibility in the field with the structured management of customer projects.

The ISV Group develops and implements machine vision solutions for quality-critical applications in automotive manufacturing environments. Headquartered in Hangzhou, China, with branches in Germany, Spain, and the U.S., the company supports international customers in the implementation of high-performance image processing systems.

In this position, you will be responsible for both the technical implementation at the customer site and the coordination of project workflows. We are looking for someone who can quickly grasp technical issues, communicate professionally with customers, and manage projects with a clear focus on deadlines, quality, and results.

Your Responsibilities

• Commissioning and optimizing machine vision systems at customer sites in the automotive industry.

• Analysis and resolution of technical issues during ongoing operations, as well as support in escalation cases.

• Performing maintenance, functional tests, and customer training.

• Coordinating customer projects from preparation through implementation to acceptance.

• Creating and maintaining project plans, status reports, and technical documentation.

• Coordination with internal teams in Europe, China, and the U.S., as well as with customers and partners.

• Monitoring deadlines, open issues, and risks, including proactive problem-solving.

Your Profile

• Technical degree or comparable training in automation, mechatronics, electrical engineering, computer science, or mechanical engineering.

• Experience in technical service, commissioning, or support for complex technical systems.

• Ideally, experience with machine vision, industrial image processing, or automated inspection systems.

• Experience in the automotive industry or a comparable industrial environment.

• Strong customer focus, organizational skills, and communication skills.

• Good knowledge of German and English.

• Willingness to travel (approx. 50%).
